Jamie's Ministry of Food school holiday program to give teens opportunity to embrace inner masterchef

JAMIE'S Ministry of Food is set to rollout its school holiday program to students living in Yarrabilba and surrounding areas on January 13.

COOK UP: Kids over the age of 12 have an opporutnity to learn vital cooking skills as part of Jamie's Ministry of Food school holiday program.

COOK UP: Kids over the age of 12 have an opporutnity to learn vital cooking skills as part of Jamie's Ministry of Food school holiday program.

The school holiday program will run over five consecutive days for 90 minutes per session and teach kids, aged 12 and over, to cook nutritious recipes inspired by Jamie Oliver at the mobile kitchen, located on Exhibition Drive, opposite the Yarrabilba Master Builders Display Village.

Kids will learn basic food education and money-saving tips to make beautiful, nutritious, quick meals from scratch at the mob.

They will learn how to bake, grill, saute, boil and roast in the kitchen.

The program costs $50 for kids aged 12-16 and $75 for teens aged over 16.
