IN A twist on the popular Twenty20 format of cricket, Last Man Standing Beaudesert will hold a T10 Australia Day tournament on January 27 at Glenlogan Park.
Games will be played with eight people per team and a series of unique rules will apply.
Batsmen will retire after scoring 30 runs and bowlers will deliver a maximum of two overs each.
LMS Beaudesert manager Matt Turbill said he was expecting 12 teams to register for the competition with eight teams already entered.
"There will be four pools of three teams playing round robin and then finals all in one day," he said.
"Finals will be played on turf and under lights."
A minimum of three matches will be played per team.
It will cost $200 to register a team which equates to $25 per player with prizes to be awarded to the winning team.
The day will include a BarbeCURE fundraising iniaitive with 50 cents from every sausage sold to be donated to the Cure Cancer charity.
Games will start from 9am.
