A 19-year-old Bethania man has been charged following the alleged armed robbery of a liquor shop at Meadowbrook this week.
Police allege a man, armed with a large knife, walked into the Logandowns Drive business at 9.05am on Wednesday, December 4 and demanded cash from a 45-year-old male employee.
The armed man allegedly fled the bottle shop on foot with cash and a two litre bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey.
Police investigations led officers to arrest the 19-year-old man at Burchill street, Loganlea.
He was charged with one count of armed robbery and appeared at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on December 4.
