MULTIPLE high scoring affairs ensured there was plenty of entertaining cricket at Glenlogan Park on Sunday as part of the Last Man Standing Twenty20 series.
In game one, the Beauy Bucheurs went out to bat first against Jimby Crickets and scored an impressive 2-181 with Daniel Lakes (52) and Sam Matthew (51) performing well.
Jimby Cricket failed to chase down the target with 4-118 with Sam Matthew slowing down their run rate with two tight overs.
In game two, Purple People Eaters scored an impressive 3-199 with Jason Hart (50) and Colin Ginn (51) in form with the bat.
The Purple People Eaters faced a bit of trouble from Jacques Gardner's bowling with 2-30 from four overs.
Gardner would have taken four wickets if fielders were able to hang on to two catches.
No Limits struggled to keep up with the high strike rate and lost with 4-130.
In game three, Beaudesert Select scored a modest 5-147 in a game that went down to the final ball.
Duck Duck Gone failed to hit a boundary and fell five runs short with 5-142.
Phil Myors was man of the match due to his stellar performance with the bat and ball. Myors scored 45 runs and took three wickets for five runs. Jimmy Bradley also scored 50 runs from 34 balls in his debut game.
Jimmy Howe delivered some dangerous balls and claimed three wickets for 19 runs.
