WINDY conditions have caused a large tree branch to fall on powerlines near the Cedar Grove Road and Brushwood Crescent intersection causing power outages for more than 200 residents.

Energex spokesperson Danny Donald said crews were currently working to restore power to 240 affected customers by 5pm.
Woodhill Rural firefighters were called to the incident.
