When Beaucare transitioned to the NDIS more than two years ago, it was the greatest change the Disability Sector had ever seen.
It was July 1, 2017 and a once in a generation change occurred which would replace a 70-year-old system.
The aim was to give people living with disability greater choice and control over their supports which is something Beaucare fully endorsed.
Beaucare's goal is to maximise quality of life by researching needs, community collaboration and providing direct assistance through a range of support systems.
In the past two years it has transitioned all clients to the NDIS and has seen other members of the community choose Beaucare as their disability support service provider.
Its high quality service makes Beaucare a good option for people living with disability. Clients have lots of opportunity to engage with the mainstream community through both individual and group supports.
The group program is very popular with clients travelling far and wide to experience outings such as lawn bowls, shows and new in-centre activities include, art, woodwork, yoga, line dancing and science.
The Disability Support team continues to grow in size to meet the needs of our community. Beaucare is currently seeking passionate and skilled Lifestyle Assistants to support clients to live the life they want.
