JIMBOOMBA police officers will be available for a coffee and informal chat at Cafe Flagstone on Wednesday, October 16.
Acting Senior Sergeant Adrian Burns said the Coffee with a Cop event would be a good opportunity for residents to connect with police, Logan City Council, PEET and Neighbourhood Watch.
"Jimboomba Police work in close partnership with the Logan City Council in spreading the message of, and promoting crime prevention, personal and community safety," Acting Senior Sergeant Burns said.
The event will run from 9am to 10am.

JIMBOOMBA and Browns Plains police officers joined forces to prepare free food for almost 100 people who took part in the annual Spring Mountain Cops and Robbers Park Run on September 28.
Sergeant Shane Clark said the event was an opportunity for the community to connect with police.
"People as far as the Gold Coast drove up to participate in the event and there were some that really got into the spirit, dressing up in their best robbers outfits.
"We would like to thank all the volunteers and Logan Council that assisted in the food preparation and it is official, police, clearly out ran the local, well dressed robbers. There is always next year."
