KOORALBYN'S Ramada Resort was a hub of creativity last night as the festival opened to the public and the golf course came alive with art, music, dancing and culture.
The evening event included music by the Haystack Mountain Hermits, Topology and The Ironing Maidens.
Visitors were treated to some Indigenous culture with Mununjali Bureebun (Mununjali Dreaming) featuring Mununjali elders, Happy Rayz, Youth Ensemble, Mununjali Ngari, Robbie West, Nalingurrie Dance and We Are Old Lore.
The Big Pitch hosted Red Ridge Central West Aboriginal Corporation's presentation Dress The Central West fashion parade, featuring magnificent garments, may featuring natural materials including recycled cotton, paperbark, feathers and gum nuts.
The UPLATE presentation in the Big Pitch featured music from The Ironing Maidens.
The festival continues today with a variety of free activities, live entertainment and food trucks as well as workshops, demonstrations and artistic performance.
