BEAUDESERT Soccer Club players selected in Queensland teams took part in the Christian Football Federation Australia's National Titles at Redcliffe this week.
Club spokeswoman Kym Neuendorff said the selected players earned their spots at the national level through regular training sessions and trial games.
"The Beauy Rangers had five young ladies selected in the Queensland Under 16 girls squad," Ms Neuendorff said.
"Isabelle Adam, Gidget Berg, Holly Bunkell, Emily Moore and Raine Pedler took to the field in the Queensland jersey and came away with the national title.
"The team played New Zealand in the final and dug deep, after New Zealand scored first, to get two goals in the second half.
"Congratuations to Gidget Berg and Emily Moore who were also selected in the Under 16 Girls All Stars Team."
Ms Neuendorff said Travis Uppington played in the Under 14 Queensland team that finished in third place.
"Travis scored two goals at the national titles and played hard," she said.
"Samual Kullrich and Kane Neuendorff represented the Under 16 team.
"Kane was announced as co-captain of the Queensland team and the team made their way to the grand final.
"The team went down 2-0 to NSW City in the final.
"Declan Drake, Tom Moore and Joe Nilon represented the Under 18 team.
"The boys played strong at the titles, going down to NSW Coastal in the semi final."
Ms Neuendorff said congratulations went to Joe Nilon, who was also selected in the Under 18 Boys All Stars Team.
"Special mention also to Josh Brown," she said.
"Josh stepped up to play for the Under 14 South Australian team as they were short of players for the titles."
