WHEN baby Harvey Ian-Ray Selby came into the world at exactly 9.19am on September 9, his parents knew he was special.
Harvey, born at Beaudesert Hospital was a long-awaited addition to his family which includes older brothers Declan, 10 and Liam, 7.
His mum Tanya said she was waiting to go into surgery for an elective caesarean section and the hospital staff were commenting on the date being 9/9/19.
"I jokingly said if they could deliver him at 9.19am that would be great," she said.
"We hadn't planned for it to happen but that is exactly when he was born."
If the date and time weren't enough of a fluke, baby Harvey also measured 50cm from head to toe at birth- or just over 19 inches.
Harvey's father Adam said they had decided on Harvey's name early in the pregnancy.
"We changed our minds several times along the way, and his middle names are for Tanya's father and mine, but we kept coming back to Harvey," he said.
"When we saw him for the first time we knew that was the perfect name for him, it means battle-worthy and blazing iron, so a good strong name."

The proud parents said they were grateful to have had such caring and professional doctors and nurses at Beaudesert Hospital.
"We have nothing but great things to say about the hospital," Ms Selby said.
"Dr Matt, Dr Tim and all the nurses were amazing.
"It was a nice surprise that all of them worked so well together and were in agreement about everything."
Ms Selby said it was different to her experiences at other hospitals where nurses and doctors often gave conflicting advice.
She said Harvey was settling well into Beaudesert life.
"He's a placid baby, he rarely cries," she said.
"And his big brothers just love him."
