BRISBANE Roar players will kick off the new A-League season with fans, food and music at Eats and Beats next week.
The monthly festival, presented by Logan City Council, will be held at the Roar's training base at the Logan Metro Sports Park on Friday, September 27 from 5pm.
Liverpool legend and new head coach Robbie Fowler and the entire Roar squad will mingle with fans ahead of the new season, which starts in October.
"It's an exciting opportunity to once again host the Eats and Beats food truck and music festival at our City of Logan home," Brisbane Roar chief executive David Pourre said.
"There'll be plenty of delicious food and fun to be had fun for the whole family as well as the chance to take some photos and meet all the players."
The event will also host the usual Eats and Beats cavalcade of food trucks with tastes from all over the world as well as local music acts.
The Roar begin their A-League season against last season's grand finalists Perth Glory in Western Australia on Sunday, October 13. Glory lost to Sydney FC on penalties during the nail-biting final in May.
The Roar's first home game of the year is on October 25 against Melbourne Victory at Suncorp Stadium.
