LOCALS and visitors flocked to Hills International College on Saturday, September 14 for the Jimboomba Silver Spurs rodeo.
Despite the hot weather before the sun set, children had a ball enjoying pony rides and a giant slide.
Meanwhile, avid rodeo fans set up around the arena to watch some of Queensland's top bull and bucking horse riders compete.
Among the animals appearing at Jimboomba was notorious bucking horse Buffalo Bill, six-time National Rodeo Association saddle horse of the year.
Barrel racing and poddy riding was also on display.
Organiser Jason Gill of rodeo contractor John Gill and Sons said a great atmosphere was key to a successful rodeo.
Between competition, crowds were entertained by famed rodeo clown Big Al Wilson and Walter Whip and the Flames.
