A CEDAR Grove woman has been charged after police allegedly seized a quantity of crystal methamphetamine in Jimboomba early on Wednesday morning.
The drug - also known as ice - was allegedly found when police intercepted a car on Brisbane Street.
The 35-year-old was charged with possessing a dangerous drug and a drug utensil. A 32-year-old man, also from Cedar Grove, was charged with unlicensed driving.
The pair will appear in Beaudesert Magistrate's Court on September 24.
It came after police issued a warning on Tuesday that unlicensed drivers could lose their cars.
On September 9, a 30-year-old man from Jimboomba was charged with damage and breaching a domestic violence order.
Jimboomba police - who have been aiding fire efforts in the Scenic Rim - also urged residents to be prepared in case local fires broke out.
They asked people to keep away from fire-affected areas while emergency services were trying to combat dangerous blazes.
