A local electrician wants to inspire young females interested in a trade career to follow their dreams.
Marise Parkinson wishes to thank the community for supporting her business Bright Side Electrical as a female tradesperson.
"In doing this they not only support my business, but females in trades for the future generations," she said.
"When I go into homes and see young teenagers, I hope I inspire them to look at the future with maybe an open mind to get into a trade."
Marise has been in Jimboomba for three years and loves the community.
"I have been in the trade now about 18 years. I love my job, I love the trade, I pride myself in the work, I turn up on time, do what needs to be done and clean up after myself."
With summer approaching, Marise said it is a good time to replace the fans that are looking old and shabby that you have been wanting to change over to nice fresh new fans.
