A STRONG field of talent is expected to serve up some quality contests at the Jimboomba Tennis Club this month.
The Jimboomba Tennis Club's will hold their annual junior tournament on August 18, followed by Open and A Grade tournaments on August 24 to 25 starting at 8am.
Junior games will be contested in under 10, 12, 14 and 16 age categories.
The opens and A Grade competitions will be contested in men and women categories.
Cash prizes include $500 for the winner of the open singles and $300 for open doubles winners.
Runners up will win $250 for the open singles and $150 for the open doubles.
Jimboomba Tennis Club coach Brett Day said the tournaments would feature high quality tennis which would be worth watching.
"Anyone that wants to come along and watch some quality tennis is welcome," he said.
"We have catering on the day or if you want to join in on the fun all entries are welcome."
Nominations close on August 15 for the juniors tournament and August 21 for the Men's Open and A Grade tournaments.
Registration fees cost $35 for the open event, $18 for doubles, $25 for A Grade and $25 for juniors.
