THE reality of being $446,898 richer is still sinking in for a Logan man who won the division one prize in last weekend's Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
Gatton News Gifts and Stationery sold the winning ticket to the Logan man who wishes to remain anonymous.
The winner said he was on the hunt for a new home.
"It's a nice sum of money. It will help, that's for sure," he said.
"I checked my entry online (on Sunday morning) and that's when I realised I'd won division one. I couldn't believe it.
"I'm going to pay some bills to start with. I might even put down a deposit on a house."
His ticket was one of nine division one winning entries nationally.
Gatton News Gifts and Stationery owner Darryl Spicer said this was the second division one winning entry sold this year.
"Gatton has been a very lucky region lately," he said.
"All our regular customers today were hoping to be the winner but everyone is happy for this man."
It has been a lucky year for Logan's Gold Lotto customers with two Logan Village residents winning $250,000 and $500,000 in April.
A Logan mother also won $100,000 from a $5 Monopoly Scratch-Its ticket in May.
In the 12 months up to December 31 last year there were 280 division one winners who took home more than 306.19 million.
