KOORALBYN Valley was busy with flash cars and motorcycles for the first Kooralbyn Car and Motorbike Show on Saturday.
Run by local motor enthusiasts and sponsored by the Kooralbyn RSL, the event was held to raise funds for the Transformation Ministries Church in Surfers Paradise.
Several motorcycle groups were in attendance including Viking Breed, Sons of the Southern Cross, Veterans and God Squad members.
Event volunteer Jenny Hayward, said the church was a worthy cause because it helped people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction and homelessness.
"The church provides counselling for people who would not normally ask for it," she said.
"We were unsure about how many would turn up for the show but it has been a great turnout so we are hoping to hold this as a regular yearly event."

The show had something for everyone, from modified to classic and old school muscle cars and a wide range of motorbikes.
A home-built trike attracted a lot of attention.
Its creator, Viking Breed Motorcycle Club member "Rabbit" said he built the trike 20 years ago.
"It has a Subaru motor and still goes like a house on fire," he said.
There were seven categories of bike and car on display and the judges awarded trophies for each, with best in show going to Steve Randall for his 1956 Chevy and Dave Pothecary winning the big trophy for the motorbikes.
