A CONSTANTLY evolving restaurant in Yarrabilba has been crowned as south-east Queensland's small employer of the year for the second time in a row.
Thom and Ann's was presented with the accolade at the south-east Queensland Regional Training Awards night on July 5.
The restaurant has come a long way since opening its doors in August 2016.
Over the past three years the business expanded to incorporate a food truck, pop up coffee shop and three coffee trailers.
Thom and Ann's owners Fiona and Scott Roebig have encouraged their small workforce to expand their qualifications and improve on the job.
Staff members have diverse backgrounds with expertise in French cuisine, corporate catering and island resort cooking.
Ms Roebig said the business had the flexibility to explore new opportunities.
"We are always looking to grow and get onto other business projects," she said.
"We are catering at weddings on private property and taking our food truck to more private functions."
Thom and Ann's food truck was chosen among a select few to feature at the Birdsville Big Red Bash music festival on July 23, attended by 10,000 people.
Ms Roebig said "Australia's most remote music festival" was an opportunity for Thom and Ann's to put Logan and Yarrabilba on the map.
Thom and Ann's is now in the running to win another accolade with the Queensland Training Awards state final on September 14.
