HIT AND RUN continued their dominance in the Last Man Standing Twenty20 cricket competition with a 17 run victory over Jimby Crickets.
The hard fought match was a repeat of last season's final, which also went the way of Hit and Run.
Jeffrey Tesse starred with the bat for Hit and Run, scoring 51 from just 27 deliveries to help his side pile on 168 inside 20 overs.
In reply, Jimby Crickets fell 17 runs short despite half centuries from Colin Ginn and Arden De Lima.
Jeffrey Tesse was the chief destroyer, claiming two for 26 and man of the match honours.
The day's second match featured Last Man Standing newcomers No Limits.
In a low scoring but highly entertaining affair, Duck Duck Gone defended 113.
No Limits looked likely to win for much of their innings but ran into a rampaging Bobby Singh, who produced an economical spell of two for 13 to hand his side a three run victory.
Craig Stace top scored for Duck Duck Gone with 42 from 36 deliveries, while Angelo Matthews produced an outstanding innings of 42 under pressure in a losing team.
