JIMBOOMBA Police are investigating after Mazda 3 car keys, a gun safe and assorted jewellery were stolen from a Munruben home.
Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said a sledge hammer was used to gain entry to the Holyrood Court home between 7am and 10.30am on Thursday, July 11.
The Mazda 3 was later found at Teviot Road in Greenbank and is understood to have been involved in a car crash.
Batteries stolen
A JIMBOOMBA telecommunications facility was broken into between 2.30pm on July 5 and 10.30am on July 8.
Jimboomba Police Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said eight individual batteries weighing 60 kilograms each were stolen from the area at Davidson Road.
Investigations revealed a hole was cut through the fence were the batteries were stored.
