JIMBOOMBA'S Last Man Standing Twenty20 Cricket Hit and Run side suffered its first defeat against an Indigenous representative Ipswich Yuggera team over the weekend.
Ipswich Yuggera competes in various Twenty20 cricket tournaments across Queensland.
Both sides played 25 over innings with Hit and Run batting first to score 2-161.
Rodney Teese hit 50 runs from 38 balls while Andrew Hardy scored 50 from 47 balls.
The Ipswich Yuggera side slogged hard to reach 4-209 from 25 overs.
Man of the match Nathan Camplin scored 74 runs from 30 balls, including a 12 run boundary from the last ball of the game.
Ethan Acutt scored 53 runs from 42 balls while Tyreece Coolwell scored 52 runs from 31 balls. Ipswich Yuggera's combination of good swing bowling and strong batting paved the way for their four wicket victory.
The second season of Jimboomba's Last Man Standing Twenty20 series beings at Glenlogan Park on July 21.
