A 49-year-old Forestdale man has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated fraud following a 14 month Queensland Racing Crime Squad investigation.
This comes one day after police made their first arrest in Toowoomba involving a 28-year-old man for alleged systemic fraudulent behaviour from November 2016 to March 2019.
Operation Quebec Creed also targeted a 41-year-old Lockyer Waters man also charged with aggravated assault.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said it was alleged that the Forestdale and Locker Waters men supported the administration of unregistered horse supplements by a third party to dishonestly obtain a financial benefit through thoroughbred race winnings.
The Forestdale man was bailed to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 16 while the Lockyer Waters man was bailed to appear at Gatton Magistrates Court on July 15.
