MARSDEN State High School students have created anti-drug campaign material which will cover a police car patrolling the Logan District.
Crestmead police officers, Logan school based police officers and representatives of the Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit unveiled the design which features on a marked police vehicle on Wednesday, June 5.
The design was created by students who have since graduated from Marsden State High School.
It features two slogans: "Don't roll the dice with ice, ice kills," and: "There are more consequences that lie beneath the surface of ice."
Queensland Police Service spokesperson Grant Ralston said it was important to get the message across about the damage drugs inflict on local communities.
"This proactive initiative was developed to help educate and warn people in the community regarding the dangers of the drug, ice," he said.
"The vehicle will patrol the Logan District with these anti-ice messages."
