JIMBOOMBA's netball and athletics infrastructure will be improved with an investment of over $420,000.
Wright MP Scott Buchholz said $141,442 would be spent to improve lighting for the Jimboomba Netball Club while Jimboomba Little Athletics would receive $280,732 to upgrade the running track and improve the grandstand.
"The Liberal National government understands how important community sporting facilities are to locals. Without grassroots organisations and their facilities, fewer locals can have the opportunity to be active and get involved in community sports," Mr Buchholz said
"That's why the Liberal National government is committed to investing in local sporting facilities such as the Jimboomba Netball Association and Little Athletics."
"Thanks to a stronger economy, we can assist clubs with upgrades and expansions. This means more people can get involved, get active, and get together as a community."
Jimboomba's Little Athletics members recently capped of a stellar year of success and celebrated their end of season presentation ceremony on April 30.
Maddison Aitkin, Bailey Brettell and Jack Addley won gold medals at state championships in Townsville.
Sam Windsor was selected to represent Queensland Little Athletics at Hobart later this year.
The federal election will be held on May 18.
