POLICE charged a Browns Plains man with high-range drink driving over the weekend following reports of a vehicle crashing into traffic islands.
Sergeant Adrian burns said officers pulled over a 55-year-old Browns Plains man on April 14 who allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.276, more than five times the legal limit.
"Police saw that there was damage to the front end and tyres of his vehicle and it was fortunate that no one was injured as a result of this incident," he said.
"Police are reminding everyone that if you are going to drink alcohol, don't get behind the wheel."
The man is due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on May 13.
