AN ANONYMOUS Logan Village resident is more than half-a-million dollars richer after scoring a division one Gold Lotto draw prize on Saturday, April 13.
The winner purchased the Gold Lotto ticket at Logan Village News and will privately celebrate the $574,330.46 cash haul.
Winning numbers from Saturday's Gold Lotto draw were 16, 21, 18, 25, 22 and 19 while supplementary numbers were 41 and 4.
Logan Village News owner Anuj Verma said the division one win coincided with the store's new ownership.
"...To discover there was a division one win here from Saturday's draw is just fantastic. It's an amazing start and just awesome news," she said.
"It's always exciting to let customers know there was a division one win in the region. I hope there are more here not too far away."
Gold Casket spokesperson Matt Hart congratulated the mystery Logan Village on their good fortune.
"We can only imagine how their plans for 2019 have changed now they've discovered this life-changing news," he said.
"Other winners tell us how they love to share the windfall with their family, go on an overseas holiday, pay off their mortgage or buy a new home."
There were seven division one winners across Australia from Saturday's draw including four Victorians, two Queenslanders and one West Australian.
The Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Gold lotto created 194 millionaires across the country last year.
In 2014, a Cedar Grove man won $1 million from a Gold Lotto draw at the Beaudesert Newsagency.
