Emmaus College students crush grapes and run cross country in final week of term one

EMMAUS College students sprinted on the school oval on the last day of the school term.

The Prep to Year 12 Cross Country event was held on Friday, April 5, with students donning their green, blue, yellow and red house colours.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, April 4, Year 10 agriculture students crushed grapes and begun the early stage of brewing wine.

The students have studied viticulture this year and have now begun preliminary steps of producing 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon.

They will bottle the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon early in term two.

Term two will resume on Tuesday, April 23.
