The musical production Grown features Brisbane newcomer Anaru and Perth producer Isaac Sherwood and follow hit single "Be the Change" which shone a light on suicide prevention.

Licy's debut album Beautifully Broken was released in 2017.

The album made the top 25 on the Australian iTunes chart and lead single One Life peaked in the top 10.

Her music is inspired by her personal experiences, educational background, faith in god and work in the field of applied psychology.

She is involved with the Forward Church at Springwood.

Licy said her latest single relates to the pressure of growing up in a changing world.

"I think a lot of us are trying to make it or get somewhere with our dreams and along the way lose ourselves with the dangerous influences of social media," she said.

"It's easy to go down a path of forgetting who you are and where you come from in an attempt to be grown."

Licy's music has reached a wide audience from countries including USA and Sweden.

Licy said she hoped her music helped people realise that depression could be overcome.

"It is always darkest before the dawn. You eventually get through hard times," she said.

"Feelings and emotions are temporary. People need to reach out and make connections to talk through it."

Over the next three months, Licy has planned domestic tours across Queensland and shows in New Zealand and the USA.

She is planning on released an extended play over the next six months.

In 2016, Licy performed at the Sydney Opera House as a national finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam.
