EARLIER:
FIREFIGHTERS are yet to determine the cause of the blaze which engulfed a Flagstone home for almost four hours on Monday afternoon.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews were called to the River Oak Drive address shortly before 12.30pm to find a large amount of smoke billowing from the property.
There were initially four crews and between 12 and 16 firefighters on scene.
Police and paramedics were also called to the area.
A QFES spokesperson said the fire was under control at 1.45pm and extinguished just before 4pm.
No one was inside the house at the time of the fire and paramedics were not required to treat anyone for injuries.
The house sustained significant structural damage..
The Fire Investigation Unit arrived at the house late afternoon and is continuing an investigation into the incident.
This comes after a Pastoral Court home at Flagstone went up in smoke in February last year.
Meanwhile, the Flagstone Community Association will be meeting at the PEET office on Homestead Drive at 6pm tonight to discuss what the local community can do to support the family affected by the fire.
The meeting will be open to the public.
President Donna-Marie Jarden said the meeting would discuss options including offers of vouchers and money.
Arrangements are underway for a Logan House Fire Support Network representative to coordinate assistance for the family.
