A CROWD of about 5000 is expected to help celebrate Logan City Council's big food and music event - Eats and Beats - on Friday.
The event at Beenleigh Town Square will also double as a birthday celebration for Logan's premier food and music pop up festival.
The first Eats and Beats was held at Ikea Logan, Slacks Creek four years ago and the monthly event attracts thousands of people.
This Friday's (March 29) edition promises to be memorable.
Acts booked include Briana Dinsdale, Will Day, Roxbury and Forever Road and there will also be the usual delicious food trucks with tastes from all over the world.
The first 200 guests will be treated to a Poppy's Happy Birthday chocolate.
"It's a great milestone for a festival that Logan has really taken to," Cr Laurie Smith said.
"I think part of its success is down to the fact that it's held on the last Friday of every month, so it's a good way for people to kick back and relax at the end of a long week and a long month.
"I'd like to thank the council staff, the vendors and the visitors who have made Eats and Beats such a success over the last four years."
Eats and Beats begins at 5pm at Beenleigh Town Square in Kent Street. It is free.
