FLINDERS House emerged victorious in the Jimboomba State School Cross Country competition on Monday.
Jimboomba Physical Education teacher Jessie Vudrag said students ran through a new 2000 metre and 3000 metre course through the school grounds.
"Reports from the teachers and students was that it worked very well and was challenging," she said.
"It was really good to see the students who participated in the Cross Country training that was conducted for two weeks prior to the event succeed and even a couple of those students went on to win by quite a distance."
Flinders topped the rankings with an overwhelming 500 points.
Lindesay placed second on 364 points, Logan was third with 335 points and Henderson trailed on 312 points.
Ms Vudrag said she was proud of all the students who took part.
"Everyone gave it a go and the support from everyone at the finish line was extremely supportive," she said.
"It was a great display of sportsmanship."
