FOUR brave students from Veresdale Scrub State School shaved their hair in support of leukemia patients.
Year six students Travis Ussher, Jasper Gebbie, Hugh O'Leary, Connor James and Connor's father Alex Jones lost their locks during the school parade at 9.30am.
Veresdale Scrub State School's World Greatest Shave campaign raised $3050 for the Leukemia Foundation.
The number of students to shave their hair in support of the charity doubled since last year when Sammy Pearce and Connor James took part.
Veresdale Scrub State School students also coloured their hair to support the cause.
