QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Services have issued a smoke inhalation alert for Stockleigh residents due to a grass fire.
Four firefighter crews are working to contain the blaze on Stockleigh Road which occurred at 1.10pm.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said there was no threat to property but smoke could affect the area.
"Residents should close windows and doors and keep medications close by if they suffer from a respiratory condition," the spokesperson said.
Anyone who believes their property is under threat should call triple zero.
The QFES spokesperson could not confirm when firefighters expected the blaze would be extinguished.
