POLICE are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Regents Park woman while armed with a handgun in the early hours of this morning.
Shop owner chases gun-wielding man away
The 31-year-old woman was walking from her car towards an Emerald Drive store at 5.45am, February 27, when she was approached by the man who demanded her handbag.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said a shop owner chased the man away and the woman was not injured and none of her belongings were stolen.
The man is described as Caucasian, 180 cm tall with a skinny build.
He was wearing black tracksuit pants and a black hoodie with white text on the back.
