POLICE have warned residents to adopt car security measures after 16 cars were reported stolen from the Logan District in six days.

West Logan suburbs including Glenlogan, Regents Park, Hillcrest, Browns Plains, Munruben and Logan Village have been targeted.
Senior Constable Jenny Wallis said motorists needed to remember to lock it or lose it.
"An informant for one of the stolen vehicles stated to police that they left their vehicle parked on the road, unlocked and with the car keys inside," she said.
