FIREFIGHTERS took one hour to contain a house fire at Greenbank on Thursday night.
Jimboomba Fire Station acting captain Jason Hall said crews were called to Teviot Road shortly after 10pm to extinguish a fully involved house fire at a private residence.
Paramedics were called to the area at 10.19pm while firefighters contained the fire.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said no patients were reported.
Mr Hall said it was important for people to take safety precautions to protect their homes from fire.
“I would like to remind people to have working smoke alarms in the house,” he said.
“They save lives.”
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
