PARK Ridge Active Riding Group were named Club of the Year at the Dressage Queensland presentation night at Royal on the Park in Brisbane on December 8.
Club president Kay Paulsen thanked members, sponsors and the broader community for bringing the award back for the first time since 2013.
“(It) is one of the premier clubs in Queensland with a combination of running two star events and club events,” she said.
“Our facilities, competition arenas, sports buildings and grounds are top class.”
The award comes as the club vies for the Equestrian Club of the Year title in February, 2019.

Ms Paulsen said the new year would breathe new life into the club with a long awaited toilet block to be unveiled on Sunday, January 20.
The toilet block was jointly funded through a $100,000 Queensland government Get in the Game grant and $105,837 from Logan City Council.
PRARG also contributed funds to the project.
The club’s season officially starts in March with an average of 230 members involved in the club.
Most of the club’s membership base is sourced from the Logan City Council and Scenic Rim regions.
PRARG is a dressage club tailored to suit adults and teenage children with a focus on dressage and jumping disciplines.
