The Jimboomba Bushrangers overcame Springwood in a nail biting grand final on Saturday.
After winning the toss and sending Springwood to the crease, the Bushrangers applied the blow torch from the outset with opener Clayton Shaxson taking the first wicket on the fourth ball.
When the second wicket fell in the third over, the opposition were reeling but they soon found their feet, recovering to compile a respectable 8/174.
Standout bowlers included Shaxson (1/11 including a wicket maiden), Owen Maguire (1/14) and Corey Young (2/36). Hayden Carthouser (0/4) also kept the pressure on with two maidens.

With an imposing total to chase, Jimboomba took a measured approach and set about building their innings patiently.
At the decisive moment, with their team poised within striking distance, specialist finishers Owen Maguire and Lachlan Mackay showed just how devastating they can be.
The dynamic duo blasted four after four on their way to 22 and 16 respectively from two overs.
Their heroics were enough to see the Bushrangers home as they reached 5/181 to seal a hard-earned premiership triumph.
The best performers with the bat were Owen Maguire (53 no), Lachlan Mackay (41 no), Hayden Carthouser (24) and Liam McGregor (11).
But it was a committed team effort that made the victory possible with every member digging deep in the stifling heat with both bat and ball.
As well as lifting the trophy, Jimboomba claimed Division Three bragging rights.
Congratulations to all players on a deserving victory.
