JIMBOOMBA State School students hit the pool for their Inter House Swim Carnival amid scorching hot temperatures this week.
The carnival kicked off on Monday, November 26, with years one and two taking the plunge.
Years three and four followed on Wednesday, November 28 with years five and six competing for the final day on Thursday.

The swimming carnival concluded with the famous Teachers V Students race as the last event.
Preliminary age champion results are in for students aged six to nine with overall results to be revealed next week.
Jimboomba State School Physical Education teacher Paul Ball said he was proud of the student’s participation and achievement.
“(Year six student) Ryan Sutcliffe broke two records, and a ten year old girl broke a record from 2005,” he said.
