The club is based at Greenbank State School pool with swimmers offered the opportunity to compete in all strokes over a 25 metre, 50 metre or 100 metre distance.
Ms Head said the club was scoring early goals with two swimmers winning accolades for their performance at the Yeronga Park swim meeting on Saturday, October 27.
“Lots of swimmers (are) achieving personal bests every week they swim,” she said.
“A number of swimmers have now entered in their first competitive meet over the next month, and the club is all about inclusion and doing your best and having fun while keeping fit and active.
“Recently, a small squad of swimmers attended their first competition at Yeronga Swim Club under the Greenbank Gators banner, with many personal best times swum and medals picked up by two swimmers.”
The Greenbank Gator’s next club night will be on Tuesday, November 27 with registration from 5.45pm, warm up from 6pm and racing from 6.30pm.
