THE division two Jimboomba Bushrangers shot down the Greenbank Gorillas with a phenomenal bowling attack on the weekend.
Greenbank lost the toss and sent Jimboomba in to bat first.
There were no weak links in the Jimboomba batting line up with Noah Plater, Hayden Steinhardt and Cameron Steinhardt scoring half-centuries to put on 3/228 in 40 overs.
Jimboomba bowled with confidence to take four early wickets from Greenbank for 19 runs.
A middle order Greenbank batsman scored 48 runs to make the Bushrangers work hard for their victory.
Connor Mills led the Jimboomba bowling attack with four wickets in three overs.
Tight bowling and fielding restricted Greenbank to 9/95 with Jimboomba winning with a 133-run margin.
Division four
STRONG batting performances led to an entertaining day of cricket between the Jimboomba Bushrangers and Kuraby Gold on Saturday, November 17.
The Bushrangers won the toss and sent Kuraby in to bat. Bowlers Liam Clark (2-11), Joseph Withers (1-16) and Harry Shield (1-6) let the attack as Kuraby scored a respectable total 4/108.
Jimboomba came out swinging with the bat, losing more wickets for a higher score of 7/133.
Harry Shield and Keith Henley top scored with 19 runs each, followed by Tristan Van Hout (17) and Joseph Withers (16).
Henley impressed spectators with a shot smashed out of the park for six.
