The Beaudesert Bush Bards have announced the winner of their limerick competition.
Bush Bards president Pamela Fox said the group ran the competition to support the Arts and Information Centre which runs the Beaudesert Market Fest with the help of Mick and Jenny Young.
“The winning limerick was chosen by the general public at the Beaudesert Community Arts & Information Centre’s Arty Pharty Party on November 3,” Ms Fox said.
“The winning entry by Maurice Hardy won by seven votes from the second place getter.

There’s a new breed of zombie, out there on the streets
Living in a dream
Eyes glued to a screen
So be careful or they’ll knock you right off your feet.
