Men’s shed
Greenbank Men’s Shed offers membership for men to join in activities, including woodworking, leatherwork, pyrography and social events. The workshop is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 6am to 12.30pm. The shed is backed by the Greenbank RSL sub-branch. It is at 3/15 Corporate Place, Hillcrest. Phone 3806 6086.
Musicality
Rehearsals are held for the Logan West Vocal Group every Tuesday from 10am to noon at 2/12 Tradelink Road, Hillcrest. The choir is non auditioned and open to anyone with a love of music and a willingness to participate in a choir. Each rehearsal is a gold coin donation. Phone 3800 1853.
Mundoolun Arts, Craft and Friendship
It is a sewing and craft group for charity, everyone is welcome, novice and professional crafters, carers with children, even if you're just looking for some company. The group meets at the Mundoolun Community Centre every Monday from 9am to 2pm. Entry fee is $5 which covers morning tea. Native plants
The Logan River branch, Society for Growing Australian Plants Inc (SGAP) meets on the third Thursday of each month at different venues from 9.30am. Locations include botanic gardens, national parks and reserves and members gardens. Phone Glen Leiper on 3287 4377.
Neighbourhood Watch Jimboomba

Playgroup

Lotus Vana facilitates programs for senior's ($5 per session including morning tea) Monday and Friday's and disability programs in Logan Village Wednesday's ($8).
It is a great opportunity for people to get out, socialise, make friends and join in the activities on the day, which include games and cards for the seniors and Wednesdays including Zumba, music, flower arrangements and craft. Beenleigh Red Cross offers mobility equipment for hire at a low cost. Available are wheelchairs, walkers, crutches etc at the Beenleigh Showgrounds, entrance via gate three on James Street.
