JIMBOOMBA athletes won medals in multiple events at the Queensland Secondary School State Championships south of Brisbane.
Maddison Aitkin and Bailey Brettell were the top performers with Aitkin coming out on top in under 16 girls pole vault and Brettell winning gold in under 13 boys 90m hurdles.
Felila Kia won gold for under 15 girls discus and shot put while getting bronze for javelin.
Talosaga Kia is in her last year with Jimboomba Little Athletics and won gold for under 17 discus and bronze for javelin.
Sam Windsor placed second in under 15 pole vault and won top ten placings in numerous other athletic events.
Jack Addley won silver in hammer throw, Ben Roberts won bronze in javelin and Erin Gallagher placed third in shot put.
The championships were held at the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre at Nathan, Kessels Road, on the weekend October 27-28.
Motootua Kia won gold for under 12 boys shot put at the Queensland Primary Schools State Championships on October 20-21.
