HISTORY buffs will have to wait a little longer to see inside a railway cottage makeover on Logan Village Green.
It will become a photo gallery to showcase Logan Village Museum’s collection of historic rail and river photos. The museum had hoped to launch it in tandem with pop-up foodie and music series Eats & Beats on Friday, October 26.
Museum curator Coralyn Cowin said the event’s cancellation after rains left the green and car park a bog was a blessing in disguise.
“The truth is we’ve still got work to do mounting the photographs and hanging them,” she said.
The cottage dates to about 1902. It was a storeage shed at Logan Village Pony Club before it was moved to the green, raised on stumps and painted.

Ms Cowin said the museum would set a new launch date to co-incide with a special day.
“Perhaps when have our Christmas Carols on December 15,” she said.
