PHOTOS of a potential witness to a fatal stabbing at Woodridge in August have been released.
Police wish to speak to a male (pictured) after a 37-year-old man was allegedly stabbed in the neck at 11pm on August 18.
The man was walking with three other people before a confrontation unfolded at Prince Park with a group of three men, accompanied with two children.
He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition and died overnight on August 21.
Police charged a 29-year-old Woodridge man with one count of murder and two counts of going armed to cause fear two days later on August 23.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the potential witness (pictured) was at Ewing Road close to the time of the incident.
“Police are not alleging the man was involved in anyway but believe he may have witnessed the offence and be able to assist police with their investigation,” the spokesperson said.
“Anyone with information in relation to this man’s identity or whereabouts is urged to contact police.”
