CAMILLE Vudrag has decided she no longer wants to be Rapunzel.
The Jimboomba State School student grew her hair since the day she was born before parting ways with 36 cm at a junior school parade in front of her peers on Wednesday, September 12.
Vudrag, 5, raised $1600 for the Variety Children’s Charity leading up to the chop.
Her locks will be donated as a wig to a sick child in need.
Camille’s mother and Jimboomba State School teacher Jess Vudrag said the haircut was a big moment for her daughter.
“(Camille) has had trims but has never had a massive chop yet...she wants to have it shorter,” she said.
“Having cancer touch our family and knowing Variety is a children’s charity someone at a similar age to Camille might get this hair.”
About You Hair and Beauty Salon hairdresser Kathy Law cut Camille’s hair with help from her father Dave, brother Oliver and Jess.
