TWO Logan motorists were charged with high-range drink driving in four days.
Jimboomba Police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said a 46-year-old Logan Reserve man was taken to the station after allegedly refusing to provide a breath specimen on August 22.
Police allege the man recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.272 after police approached the man in the drivers seat of a black Toyota Aurion about 8.10am on August 3.
The man was charged with failing to supply a specimen of breath and being in charge of a motor vehicle while under the influence.
He will appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 22.
Road blocked
BROWNS Plains Police allege a 45-year-old Hillcrest man was more than five times over the legal limit while his car was stopped in the middle of Anzac Avenue blocking traffic.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said officers approached a gold Toyota Kluger on August 7 and found a male in the driver’s seat.
Police accompanied the man to the Browns Plains Police Station and allege a BAC of 0.258 was recorded.
The man was charged with high-range drink driving and will appear in Beenliegh Magistrates Court on September 4.
His licence was immediately suspended.
