POLICE are appealing for public help to find a man who might assist them in relation to fraud offences in Browns Plains.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said officers were investigating after a wallet was stolen from a parked car at Hillcrest on April 25.
“A credit card (was) used to purchase items at ten businesses in Browns Plains in the following 24 hours,” the spokesperson said.
Police said there was a failed attempt to fraudulently use another credit card at one of the ten businesses on July 16.
Staff refused service and a man fled from the shop.
