THE under 12 boys and under 17 girls were the heroes for the Jimboomba Redbacks over the weekend.
Jindalee Yellow played against the under 12 side on Sunday at Jindalee.
The Redbacks kept Jindalee goalless for the entire match with the strong defence laying a foundation for an overhwelming 20-3 victory.
This was despite a number of offensive attempts from Jindalee which were repelled by a powerful back line.
Owen secured two goals and one goal was scored by Cooper.
Lawson Muller was player of the match due to his ability to apply pressure throughout the whole game.
The good form was replicated by the under 17 Beenleigh/Jimboomba girls team who defeated the Greater Springfield under 17 girls 64-0.
The under 15 Jimboomba/Greater Springfield team had less luck against Park Ridge on Sunday, losing 11-31.
Mayne defeated the under 14 Jimboomba/Greater Springfield side on Sunday 32-69.
The under 13 Jimboomba Redback girls also lost to Springwood 3-52.
